Exposure Shorts - Finished?

hi all,

OK, I've got a CD with 9 videos on it
with some text and it all looks pretty
good.

What I don't have is a CD inlay in
electronic format on the CD. It seems
to me there isn't a common standard for
this and also I don't have any program
to make these inlays.

So, if everyone agrees we'll call this
the final CD and I can start to send it
out to everyone and we can start the
next stage of PUBLICITY.

Can everyone please help with the publicity.
Even if you did not have a video on the
CD. I'll be happy to send out copies of
the CD to everyone who contributed to the
CD and even send the CD out to other people
if you can help with the publicity of the
CD.

Example of publicity could be -
- Telling your local newspaper about
this venture where distributed
people managed to work together.
- Maybe create your own release party.
- Can you think of others?

oh and CD inlays ... I know Nero has some sort of inlay program, and I know a lot of ppl use Nero, myself included -- I've never used the inlay option though, I'm a fine-felt-tipped kinda fella ;-D

hi,

The 'data' on the CD is free. But you
can sell your effort of putting the
data on a CD and packaging.

I'll give mine away, but you can sell
yours if you want.

If you do want to sell them, I'd
suggest a small price, but it is up to
you.

I say 'free' but it is copyrighted by
all the submitters of the videos, so
you cannot use part of the videos without
permission, but you can copy the CD
in its entirety. Phew.

cause i could put a posting in an educational newspaper that i sub-edit for and i tell a friend of mine at Scottish Screen to spread the news, i could also tell a media tutor about it so he can tell students to go and look at it for insperation. on www.exposure.co.uk - i believe thats what you want us to do?

No steve, you've misunderstood.

Andy has made a compilation CD of shorts made by members of this board. It is that which he is trying to push, as opposed to the actual website which I beleive he is not connected with.
